What happens when a New Yorker leaves New York? He spends night and day searching every town for the food he left behind! And when he can’t find it he makes insane attempts to make it himself. After living outside of New York for ten years I have decided to share my knowledge of all things “new york food” including where to find it, how to make it, and how to console yourself when all hope is lost!
About the Author
Jason Flaks is an expatriot New Yorker who left New York over a decade ago and crisscrossed the country living everywhere from Miami to Seattle. Jason has also traveled extensively for his job as a Program Manager at a large Seattle area software company. No matter when Jason goes he is always on the hunt for authentic New York food. When not searching for New York food or doing his day Job, Jason spends his time with his lovely wife and two children.
